Tarun Bharat Sangh receives Swami Rama Humanitarian Award-2023

The Tarun Bharat Sangh, Alwar, Rajasthan was presented the Swami Rama Humanitarian Award-2023 for its exceptional contributions in the field of environmental and water conservation, organic farming, and promoting self-governance in rural areas. Noted activist Rajendra Singh received the award on behalf of the organisation. The award was presented at a function held to mark the 28th Mahasamadhi Day of Swami Rama, the founder of Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust (HIHT)

The chairman of HIHT’s executive committee and the chancellor of Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Vijay Dhasmana stated  that the exceptional work of this organisation has had a major impact on humanity. “May its work continue to grow and flourish in right earnestness,” Dhasmana said.

The Tarun Bharat Sangh has successfully provided water to nearly 1,000 villages struggling with water scarcity. For this achievement, the organisation also received a gold medal, a certificate of excellence, and a cash award of Rs 10 lakh.
