Disability free campaign organised at Smt Manjiradevi University

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the State government has approved several important schemes approximately valued at Rs 110 crore to improve education and health facilities in Uttarkashi district. “A sub-district hospital in Bhatwari is being established and funds will be sanctioned for the construction of the hospital building once the land is arranged,” he said and added that Rs 41 crores have been approved for the construction of Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya in Chinyalisaur block.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a programme organised under the disability free Uttarakhand campaign under the joint aegis of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh and Mahavir Seva Sadan at Smt Manjiradevi University at Hitanu in Dhanari, Uttarkashi.  In this camp, 65 specially abled persons were provided free artificial limbs.

Among the dignitaries present included the Parmarth Niketan founder Swami Chidanand, founder member of Mahavir Seva Sadan Vinod Kumar Bagrodiya and the vice-chancellor of Smt Manjiradevi University Harishankar Nautiyal.  They also spoke on the occasion, expressing their resolve to run the disability free India campaign.
