DIG Kukreti & ASP Upadhyay win medals in All India Police Badminton Championship

Uttarakhand won silver and bronze medals in the 15th All India Police Badminton Championship 2023 held in Chandigarh from February 20 to 26. The winners are two female police officers- deputy inspector general (Fire) Nivedita Kukreti and additional superintendent of police Kamlesh Upadhyay who won a silver medal in the women’s double category in the badminton championship.
DIG Kukreti also won a bronze medal in the women’s single category. The director general of police Ashok Kumar met the medal winners of the badminton championship on Monday at police headquarters and congratulated them for the achievement. He also motivated them to work hard and practice more dedicatedly to get a gold medal next year for the State.
