Dhami inaugurates exhibition highlighting Modi govt’s achievements in nine years

In Dehradun latest news, the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated a cultural programme and exhibition in Dehradun to mark the completion of Narendra Modi government’s nine years in office. This showcases the developmental achievements and the flagship schemes rolled out in the past nine years. The exhibition was opened on May 30 and will continue till June 3. In these days, myriad of cultural activities will be staged which include music band play, laser show, folk music and dance and art and craft fair.

In his inaugural address, CM Dhami said that these nine years have remained dedicated to imparting people- friendly governance and dishing out welfare schemes for the poor. “Earlier, schemes were conceived with electoral calculations being kept in view. But PM Modi has ushered in a new era of development which is meant to reach the benefits of development to one and all,” he said.

Referring to the changes occurring in Uttarakhand during these years, Dhami said that inspired by the developmental model framed by the Centre, the State government has been moving decisively in the direction of making Uttarakhand a model State by 2025.
