Devotees thronged the Naina Devi Mandir here to pay obeisance to goddesses Nanda and Sunanda during the nine-day 123rd Ma Nanda Devi Mahotsav organised by the Shri Ram Sewak Sabha here on Tuesday.
In addition to the religious rituals and spiritual activities, discussions were also held on the environment, motivating the youths and the condition of Nainital city.
The discussions and other activities were shared live on social media. During the Panch Arti in the evening, MLA Sarita Arya and others participated in the ritual which was also attended by a large number of devotees.
Nainital district magistrate Vandana Singh and many other officials also partook of the Prasad distributed in the Bhandara. It is pertinent to mention here that various religious, cultural and social activities are being held daily as part of the Ma Nanda Mahotsav in the lake city.
