A number of persons from Uttarakhand who have made significant contributions in various fields were felicitated at the Devbhoomi Icon Award 2025 programme. The organisers said that the main objective of the programme was to recognise and honour hidden talents and raise public awareness about social concerns. Special sessions were held on topics such as Green India, animal cruelty, drug eradication and cybercrime awareness.
During the cultural programme, the Uttarakhand Culture department presented Chholiya dance. Three differently-abled athletes were specially honoured at the event, too.
On this occasion, the police circle officer, Vaibhav Saini discussed the growing trend of drug abuse and cybercrime in detail.
