As expected many leaders who were denied tickets by BJP for the assembly elections have revolted against the party.
Frustrated over denial of ticket the former MLA Om Gopal Rawat has declared to quit BJP and join the Congress party.
Rawat was in contention for party ticket from Narendra Nagar assembly constituency but from here the party reposed it’s faith on Subodh Uniyal who is the cabinet minister in Dhami cabinet.
Similarly Tharali MLA Munni Devi Shah has also decided to contest as independent candidate. The BJP has replaced her with Bhopal Ram Tamta.
