In latest news from Dehradun, the ‘Developed Uttarakhand’ tableau is on display in Red Fort premises in Delhi from January 23 to 31.   As per the State government officers, this is the first time the people are viewing the State’s development trajectory through this tableau. They further said that the tableau had been crafted on what the Prime Minister Narendra Modi said about the third decade of the 21st century belonging to Uttarakhand.

The State government had been going all its way to translate this vision of the Prime Minister into reality, said the joint director of the State information department and the nodal officer K S Chauhan. While the front part of the tableau displays kumaon woman clad in traditional attire and the traditional cuisine of the State involving mandua, jhangora and Ramdana among others, the middle part is showcasing how homestay is providing thousands of rural people with employment and the posterior part focuses on all-weather road, Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail connectivity, ropeway and the road connectivity in Mana village now called the first village of India.
