Dehradun remains unconquered in 53rd KVS National Sports Meet (U-14, Girls) Football

The five-day 53rd KVS National (U-14, Girls) Football tournament which had commenced on September 23 at PM SHRI KV IMA Dehradun concluded. In all, 13 regions- Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Ernakulam, Patna, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Dehradun, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal and Jaipur-participated. The final was played between Ernakulam and Dehradun regions and Dehradun clichéd the trophy 4-0. The Dehradun team remained unvanquished with not a single goal scored against it from the league to the final stages of the soccer tournament. The hardliner match was played between Patna and Bengaluru regions and Bengaluru beat Patna 4-3 in the penalty shootout.
Among the dignitaries present was the assistant commissioner, KVS RO Dehradun Swaty Agarwal. She felicitated the winners with the medals and trophies.
