With the char dham yatra slated to start on April 22, the day of Akshaya Tritiya, the dates of the opening of the portals of the second Kedar Madmaheshwar and those of the third Kedar Lord Tungnath have been announced on the occasion of Baisakhi festival. It is leant that on May 22, the portals of the second Kedar Madmaheshwar would reopen while those of the third Kedar Lord Tungnath would reopen on April 26 for the devotees. It is further learnt that the portals of Lord Tungnath will open at 10:50 am. As per long-continuing tradition, these announcements are made on the day of Baisakhi festival.
