CS directs secretaries to implement e-office system in all Govt offices

Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan has directed all the secretaries to ensure that the system of e-office is implemented in all the offices of the State. He gave the instruction while chairing a meeting of the secretary committee at the State secretariat on Tuesday.

He said that the secretaries should implement e-office in their respective departments. While appreciating the performance of Pauri district in implementing the e-office system, Bardhan asked other districts, particularly Dehradun, Nainital and Haridwar to start their work through e-office as soon as possible. The CS also stressed on the need for simplifying the coordination mechanism between the administration and the directorates under the e-office system. 

Bardhan said that all the secretaries should ensure that the websites of their respective departments are also updated. He emphasized on updating the departmental websites in the new format prepared through the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA). He directed that the IT department should provide technical assistance and training to the departmental personnel for e-office and website update to resolve the problems faced by the departmental personnel in the daily activities of e-office. 

Principal secretary RK Sudhanshu, L Fanai, special principal secretary Amit Sinha, secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Nitesh Kumar Jha, Radhika Jha, BVRC Purushottam, Ravinath Raman,  Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Ranjit Kumar Sinha, Chandresh Kumar Yadav, R Rajesh Kumar, Neeraj Khairwal,  Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary, Vinod Kumar Suman, Ranveer Singh Chauhan and other officers attended the meeting.
