The State President of BJP Mahila Morcha, Asha Nautiyal visited Dobh Shrikot village of the recently killed 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari on Wednesday to offer condolence to her parents and family members. She said that she understands the pain of losing a child as a mother and all are in support of the family in this hour of grief. She assured the family that the State government is taking quick action to get justice for the victim as a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already been constituted as per the directions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. She said that the matter will also be taken to the fast track court to bring the guilty to book. She said that the CM is taking the matter quite seriously and will not tolerate anybody tainting the honour of daughters of the State. He has been taking prompt action on the matter owing to which the accused have been sent to jail, stated Nautiyal. The state government has made it clear that no one will be spared, no matter how big or powerful that person might be for Ankita’s murder. The punishment against the culprits will prove to be an example for such criminals, added Nautiyal. The State vice-president of Mahila Morcha Sushma Rawat, Garhwal Convenor Anita Budakoti and general secretary Suman Kirswan also accompanied Nautiyal during the visit of the victim’s family.
