The Uttarakhand Cooperative Silk Federation would open ten retail outlets in different parts of the State. A resolution regarding this was passed in the meeting of the meeting of the management committee of the federation on Tuesday.
The Agriculture minister Ganesh Joshi and Cooperatives minister Dhan Singh Rawat would inaugurate the first retail outlet in Prem Nagar Dehradun on September 7. In the meeting of the management committee held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the president Ajeet Singh, a total of 10 resolutions were passed. He said that the sale of silk clothes produced by the federation would be done from the retail outlets. It would help in strengthening the economy of the silk farmers, producers, and federation.
