Congress to organise Tiranga Jai Hind Yatra in State

The Uttarakhand unit of the Congress party will organise Tiranga Jai Hind Yatra in different cities of the State from May 20 to 30 to celebrate the success of the Indian armed forces in the Operation Sindoor.

Incidentally, the ruling BJP is organising Tiranga Shaurya Samman Yatra in different parts of the State.

 The Pradesh Congress Committee vice president Suryakant Dhasmana told mediapersons at the State headquarters of the Congress on Friday that the organisational programmes and agitations of the Congress party suspended in view of the Operation Sindoor have been resumed. He said that the party will organise q Samvidhan Bachao programme in all the Assembly segments and also hold Jai Hind Tiranga Samman Yatras.

Dhasmana said that the party has already organised state level Samvidhan Bachao rally and Tiranga Jai Hind Yatra in Dehradun and now these programmes will be organised in all the assembly constituencies.

 He said that the government is scared of organising Panchayat elections so it has extended the tenure of administrators in the Panchayats by three months.

Asserting that the Congress party is ready for the Panchayat elections Dhasmana said that the party will soon send district level observers for the Panchayat elections.

 The Congress leader reiterated the demand of the party for suspension and arrest of Madhya Pradesh minister Vijay Shah for insulting Lieutenant Colonel Sofia Qureshi. He said that the statement of Shah has exposed the anti-women and anti-minority face of BJP.
