Considering the misleading statements being made by Congress leaders, it appears as if they want to derail the fight against Covid-19. Stating this while addressing the media virtually on Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party state president Madan Kaushik said that the Prime Minister and chief minister are working hard round the clock to defeat the Covid pandemic but other political parties are spreading confusion. He said that some Congress leaders are doing good deeds amidst the pandemic but other leaders of the party are making irresponsible statements.

After the Congress was criticised by the public in Uttarakhand the leaders of the party started working for the public. When the Covid vaccine was made in India, the entire opposition came out against it and created a negative atmosphere in the nation. Despite this, the highest number of vaccines has been administered in India. Kaushik further said that BJP workers are helping the public in the fight against Covid while some political parties are standing against the public. He said that the 15 control rooms of the BJP in Uttarakhand are working full time to serve the public. One lakh face covers have been distributed, food has been distributed to 25,000 people and about 10,000 food kits have been distributed by the party workers. The party workers are also working to raise awareness on Covid protocols and vaccination.

So far the BJP workers have provided 678 units of blood where required, 278 have donated plasma and ventilators and ICUs have been facilitated for 1,126 persons. Kaushik further said that the whole world is facing the Covid pandemic. Many nations which had a robust medical health system are also facing difficult situations. “In such times, the biggest vaccination programme in the world is being conducted in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The vaccine doses administered in India is higher than the population of many nations,” he added.
