In latest news from Uttarakhand, an altercation broke out between the Congress activists and police over locking of the local Congress office. The former Ramnagar MLA Ranjeet Singh Rawat Rawat stated that someone had put a new lock on the gates of the office which he replaced with the old lock. As per his allegation, a police team then arrived and broke the lock, stating that some men had been locked inside. Rawat denied anyone being locked inside. But police had still broken the lock, he alleged.
