Conference on Machine Learning & Data Engineering concludes at UPES

The third edition of the International Conference on Machine Learning and Data Engineering (ICMLDE 3.0) concluded at UPES‘s Bidholi campus on Friday.  The two-day conference was organised by the UPES School of Computer Science (SoCS) in collaboration with Elsevier, the University of Dayton (USA) and Providence University. This year’s event, sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and IBM, was structured around four key tracks: Machine Learning Foundation, Deep Learning and Data Engineering, Machine Learning and Data Engineering and Applications.

On the inaugural day, the director general, CERT-In, MeitY Sanjay Bahl attended the event as the chief guest while thedirector, IRDE DRDO,Ajay Kumar was present as the guest of honour. Among other dinitories who spoke on the inaugural day were the vice chancellor, UPESRam Sharma,Vijayan K. Asar of University of Dayton andAmit Sachan of Jio who discussed transformative AI applications.

On day two, Professor Peter Han Joo Chong (Auckland University of Technology) addressed fuzzy logic applications in 5G networks, while Bernard Fong (Providence University) explored predictive analytics for automotive inventory management.
