The chief medical officer, Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma inspected the State Mental Health Institute; primary health centre, Nayagaon and primary health centre, Selaqui on Thursday.
During the inspection at the State Mental Health Institute, Selaqui, Sharma stressed on working with sensitivity and patience in the treatment of patients. He said that mental health is now becoming a problem which should be dealt with positive thinking, cooperative environment and sensitive behaviour. He also inspected the Tele MANAS call centre established in the institute to provide information to the people regarding mental health. Later, he inspected the primary health centres of Selaqui and Nayagaon and stressed on hygiene.
