CM Tirath Singh Rawat’s team: 8 cabinet ministers, 3 state ministers sworn in

Eight cabinet ministers and three state ministers were sworn in at the Raj Bhawan on Friday evening. The swearing in took place within a couple of days of the chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat taking the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. The governor Baby Rani Maurya administered the oath of office and secrecy to the ministers.

While Satpal Maharaj, Harak Singh Rawat, Yashpal Arya, Arvind Pandey and Subodh Uniyal have been retained from the previous cabinet, three new faces- former BJP state president Banshidhar Bhagat, Bishan Singh Chufal and Ganesh Joshi were inducted into Rawat’s cabinet. Further, among the state ministers while Dhan Singh Rawat and Rekha Arya have been retained from the previous council of ministers, Yatishwaranand was also made a state minister this time. The portfolios are expected to be allocated soon.

Congratulating the cabinet ministers and State ministers, the CM expressed confidence that they will work in coordination for the development of the state.
