Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and others paid tributes to soldier Vipin Singh Gusain, a jawan of 57 Bengal Engineers who died in the line of duty. Dhami along with cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat and Soldier Welfare minister Ganesh Joshi visted Gusain’s village at Dharkot in Pauri district and laid a wreat at his mortal remains. He announced that the Dharkot-Ithud motor road and the government inter college at Champeshwar will be named after Gusain.
Dhami also consoled the bereaved family members and assured them that the state government will provide all possible assistance to them.
