CM launches & lays foundation of 55 schemes for Purola

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development schemes worth about Rs 210 crore in a programme held at Purola. This includes launching 35 schemes and foundation stone laying of 20 schemes.
On this occasion, he announced the upgradation of the sports ground at Purola, beautification of Karna Maharaj temple at Deora village under Mori block, beautification of Rudreshwar Mahadev temple at Naugaon, expansion of Naugaon community health centre, construction of a bypass from Purola-Naugaon motor road and declaration of the area from Devjani Ora of Patti Gadugad in Mori as a tourist area.
While affirming that these schemes would directly benefit lakhs of people living in Purola and surrounding areas of Uttarkashi district, he said that the people would be provided with better connectivity facilities and more employment opportunities, adding that this area has immense possibilities in the tourism and horticulture sectors.
The Purola MLA Durgeshwar Lal who was present on the occasion along with the Gangotri MLA Suresh Chauhan thanked the CM for the bonanza of development schemes.
