Sunday, April 01, 2018 | PNS | Dehradun— The chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat would soon initiate a public interaction programme ‘Dev Bhoomi Dialogue’ in different parts of the state. Informing about the programme, the CM’s media advisor, Ramesh Bhatt said on Saturday that the CM is in favour of interacting directly with people so that policies can be formulated as per the feedback and suggestions given by the common people. Bhatt said that the idea of “Dev Bhoomi Dialogue” has been conceived to have direct interaction with different sections of the people of the state as it is an important part of good governance. He said that to start with, 500 youth from different parts of the state would be invited in the programme. Later the dialogue would be conducted with farmers, women self-help groups, students, entrepreneurs, social activists, environmentalist, traders, people related to skill development, those involved in cultural activities and also the saints based in the state, he said. Elaborating further, Bhatt said that during these programmes, the officers concerned would give presentation on the achievements and developmental schemes of the concerned areas and it would be followed by CM’s views on the subject. The ministers concerned would also participate in the dialogue, he said, adding that a question and answer session would be a part of the programme.
