CM flags off delegation for Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue 2026

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, accompanied by Sports and Youth Welfare minister Rekha Arya, officially flagged off a delegation from Uttarakhand on Thursday for the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 programme slated in Delhi from January 9 to 12. The team comprises young individuals chosen for their skills in areas such as folk dance, folk music, agricultural innovation, technology startups, oratory and poetry.
During the event, Dhami extended his best wishes to the team members for their upcoming performances. “This is a proud moment for the youngsters selected. This is an opportunity for them to develop a well-built personality and boost self-confidence besides becoming pulsating parts of the nation-building process,” he added.
Arya on her part engaged with the delegation, inquiring about the topics they plan to present in Delhi. She said that this programme provides an opportunity for the youth of the State to display their culture, art and progressive ideas on a national platform.
Arya reminded the team members that they will serve as ambassadors for Uttarakhand during the national event, emphasising their responsibility to highlight the State’s rich cultural heritage and knowledge traditions.
