CM Dhami reviews various works in his hometown Khatima

Arriving in his hometown of Khatima on a one-day tour on Tuesday, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted site inspection of various works and later held a review meeting with the officials concerned. He directed the officials that the development works to be undertaken should be started soon on priority and considering public interest. The officials were also directed to ensure quality, time-bound execution and transparency in the undertaking of such works. The CM directed the Public Works Department executive engineer to complete the patchworking soon for making the roads free of potholes. Dhami also sought detailed information about the works being undertaken by the development authority including shopping complex, bus station, Tehsil beautification and other works while also directing the officials concerned to ensure that these works are completed soon. Reviewing the works of the Peyjal Nigam and Jal Sansthan, the Cm directed the officials concerned to expedite the development works. He also reviewed the works related to health, electricity, police and other departments. He directed all the officials concerned that the departments should not observe any relaxation in execution of their respective works.

The Udham Singh Nagar district magistrate Ranjana Rajguru informed the CM in detail about the various works being undertaken in the district and the relief provided to citizens affected by heavy rains. Officials had been directed to ensure that execution of the CM’s announcements is completed on priority basis, she said. The DM further informed that due to water logging following heavy rains, all the local bodies had been directed to ensure proper sanitation, spraying and fogging to prevent the spread of water and pest borne diseases.

MLA Prem Singh Rana, farmer commission vice chairman Rajpal Singh, Mandi Samiti chairman Nandan Singh Khadayat, senior superintendent of police DS Kunwar, chief medical officer Dr DS Panchpal and other officials concerned were also present in the meeting.
