CM Dhami meets union minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi

 Expresses gratitude for the infrastructure development projects given to U’khand

 Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami continued meeting senior leaders of BJP and union ministers on the third day of his visit in New Delhi on Monday. He met the union minister of road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari at the minister’s parliament house office on the day. The duo discussed the progress of ongoing projects in the state.  Dhami requested the minister that different state ways of Uttarakhand should be notified as highways. He said that a lot of work in infrastructure development and connectivity in Uttarakhand has been done in the last few years and for this he offered his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union minister Gadkari for their guidance.

 He requested Gadkari that the Uttarakhand Public Works Department (PWD) should be made the agency for geometrical correction and broadening of National Highway (NH) -109 K and also for the Mussoorie double land project. He also requested that the DPR presented by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for construction of Pithoragarh – Ascot motor road ( from 2.81 km to 50 km) under the NH -09  should be approved, making the 13 km long Majhola- Khatima road four lane. He also requested for the approval of four lane Sitarganj- Tanakpur motor road.

 Later in the day Dhami also met senior leader of BJP and former cabinet minister Murli Manohar Joshi at his residence and sought his blessings. He also took Joshi’s guidance on ways of preserving the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand and Manaskhand Mandir Mala mission.
