Lauding the new trade deal between India and the United States of America (USA), chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the deal will give a major boost to the economy of the country.
Interacting with the media-persons in Haldwani on Wednesday, the CM said that the both USA and India are major economies of the world. He said that the trade agreement between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President of USA Donald Trump will help in creating many new opportunities. He said that the reduction of the tariff on Indian goods to 18 per cent by the USA will help in providing a new market to many Indian products.
The deal will give a new impetus to the development and will help in fulfilling the dream of India becoming an economic superpower. He added that the deal between two of the biggest democracies and powerful economies of the world will help in fulfilling the vision of Viksit Bharat of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
