CM Dhami flags off 9 mobile health units from Khatima

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off nine mobile health service vehicles from his residence at Nagla Tarai in Khatima in Udham Singh Nagar district on Thursday. Eight out of these nine vehicles are provided by the Hans Foundation while Hindustan Zinc Limited and Mamta organisation have jointly funded one vehicle.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the mobile health services will be very beneficial for both urban and rural areas and the people will benefit greatly from these health facilities. Appreciating the Hans Foundation, Hindustan Zinc and the Mamta organisation the CM said that their contribution will prove helpful in expanding health facilities in the State.

The project manager of Hans Foundation, Yudhveer Singh informed that out of the eight mobile units, four will provide health services in Udham Singh Nagar district while the remaining four mobile units will operate in the Nainital district.

The director of Hindustan Zinc Limited Anamika Jha informed that mobile medical vehicles of the company are operational in four districts of Rajasthan. T

The mobile medical vehicle will provide consultation, examination and treatment through doctors, staff nurses and counsellors in 25 villages of Gadarpur and Kichha area of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand.

The president of Udham Singh Nagar district Panchayat Ajay Maurya, chairperson of Khatima municipal council Ramesh Chandra Joshi, district magistrate Nitin Singh Bhadauria and senior superintendent of police Manikant Mishra and others were present on the occasion.
