CM approves 2 per cent DA hike

In a gift for the State government employees, pensioners and others, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved a two per cent increase in dearness allowance. The State government has decided that all the employees covered under the 7th Pay Commission, civil and family pensioners, local bodies, aided educational institutions, government universities and employees working in the UGC pay scale would get the benefit of the increased DA. The hike will be effective from January 1, 2025. Earlier, the employees were getting 53 per cent DA which has now increased to 55 per cent.
