The ongoing factionalism in Uttarakhand Congress took an ugly turn on Friday when the supporters of Harish Rawat and Pritam Singh clashed at the headquarters of Uttarakhand Congress. It is learnt that some youngsters who were shouting slogans in favour of Harish Rawat attacked the general secretary of state Congress, Rajendra Shah. General secretary (organisation) Mathura Dutt Joshi and other leaders intervened in the tussle.
Later Shah who is considered as a staunch supporter of Pritam Singh said that some goons attacked him and that he would not get bogged down by this act.
