Chief Secretary Radha Raturi gets service extension of six months

The union government has granted another extension of six months to the chief secretary of Uttarakhand Radha Raturi.  She was slated to retire on September 30. The extension of Raturi is given by the department of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions  government of India on the request of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

In a letter to the secretary general administration, Uttarakhand government, the department of personnel, government of India has extended the service of Raturi from October 1 to March 31, 2025. This is the second six month extension granted to Raturi who was to retire on March 31, 2024.

An officer of the 1988 batch of IAS, Raturi took over as the first women chief secretary of Uttarakhand on January 31.
