In the latest transfer since Tirath Singh Rawat assumed the charge of chief minister, Ranvir Singh Chauhan has been made the additional secretary and director general of the Information and Public Relations department.
Chauhan who is also the vice chairman of the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA), additional secretary of transport, language and managing director of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation will replace Meharban Singh Bisht.
The other responsibilities of Bisht including additional secretary to the CM, revenue, mining and director of food processing and mining have not been changed.
