The State Agriculture minister Ganesh Joshi met the Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in New Delhi and invited the latter in the Agri Mitra Uttarakhand 2025 programme slated in Dehradun on June 14 and 15. Chauhan is learnt to have agreed to attend the programme as the chief guest.
Joshi also apprised the Union Minister of the crops being damaged by wild animals. Chauhan is understood to have assured Joshi that an Agriculture Ministry team would soon visit Uttarakhand and take a positive decision on this menace.
