The district magistrate, Chamoli, Sandeep Tiwari-known as a stickler for punctuality and integrity-has set yet another example for the people which is likely to endear him all the more to them: his marriage solemnised simply at Gopinath Mandir preceded by registration in court, shorn of the celebratory pomp and show. Though the IAS officer was on leave on his wedding day, he processed all the important files, showing once again his unflinching dedication to public weal-something that drew admiration from one and all.
