The Union government has released a sum of Rs 25 crore to Uttarakhand as second instalment under its Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme.
In the first instalment, the Centre had released a sum of Rs 734 crore. A total of Rs 759 crore have so far been released to the State under the SASCI scheme.
Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Union government is providing continuous support to the State in its development activities.
