The central evaluation of Doon University’s even semester examinations has begun, coordinated by dean of students welfare, HC Purohit. The university vice-chancellor Surekha Dangwal stated that, according to the academic calendar, the university ensures the timely conduct of teaching activities, including practicals, mid-semester and end-semester examinations. In line with this, the central evaluation for this year’s even semester examinations has now commenced. The final semester examinations will conclude on June 5 and the university aims to announce the results within the first week of June. This timely declaration will assist meritorious students seeking admission to prestigious national and international institutions for higher studies, she said.

Further, Purohit said that alongside the evaluation of answer scripts, the computer entry of marks is also being carried out. This process ensures that the results are prepared simultaneously, as both internal and mid-semester marks are being uploaded into the system, facilitating timely completion of the results without delay, he said.

It is noteworthy that the university’s end-semester examinations for both NEP-2020 and Non-NEP courses are being conducted with the utmost integrity under the supervision of centre superintendent Rajesh Kumar. To ensure the smooth functioning of the central evaluation, faculty and staff, including Ravi Kumar, Priyank Singh and others, have been assigned specific duties.
