The State coordinator of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Uttarakhand Jot Singh Bisht alleged that the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are responsible for all kinds of corruption in their respective ruling States across the country including the UKSSSC recruitment exam leak case in Uttarakhand. He said that the BJP  has toppled governments of many States including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Assam, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and several others by allegedly buying MLAs with the public’s hard-earned money under Operation Lotus. He said that the BJP has allegedly bought a total of 277 MLAs across the country so far by either buying the MLAs or terrorizing them with raids of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Bisht said that even if BJP spent Rs 20 crore to allegedly buy each MLA,  it must have spent about Rs 5,500 crore then the question is, from where did they get this money? He further alleged that BJP leaders are utilizing people’s hard-earned money to either waive off the loans of its billionaire friends or buy MLAs. He said that though the BJP’s Operation Lotus was successful in all these States, it failed miserably in Delhi. The AAP has fought against corruption and will continue to do so against the corruption done in the UKSSSC recruitment exams in Uttarakhand and the dictatorship of the BJP in Delhi added Bisht.
