Outburst of BJP candidates indication of frustration- Congress

The outbursts of some BJP candidates against the party leaders in which they are openly accusing them of plotting to defeat them has brought smiles on the faces of Congress party in Uttarakhand. Immediately after the end of voting on Monday the sitting MLA from Laksar in Haridwar district and BJP candidate Sanjay Gupta opened a front against the state president of BJP Madan Kaushik.  Gupta said that Kaushik has conspired against him and other BJP candidates in Haridwar district. He accused Kaushik of helping BSP candidate Mohammad Shahzad. Gupta demanded that the BJP should immediately expel Kaushik from the party. The sitting MLA from Kashipur Harbhajan Singh Cheema who is the father of BJP candidate Trilok Singh Cheema has also accused the BJP leaders for sabotage. He said that the polling percent dropped because of sabotage from within the party. A similar sentiment was expressed by the BJP candidate and sitting MLA from Champawat Kailash Gahtori.

Taking a dig at the BJP, the media in charge of Garhwal region of Congress party Garima Dasauni said that internal squabble in the BJP has reached its peak as its leaders have sensed their defeat. She said that many more BJP candidates would raise their resentment in coming days. Dasauni said that the leaders of the party which claims to have transparency and discipline have become so frustrated with the prospects of defeat that they are washing dirty linen in public. She said that the BJP has become the largest undisciplined party now.
