Arra Group plans major developments in U’khand

Arra hotels group will provide 80 per cent reservation in its hotels to local youths. In the first stage, the group is planning to open 50 hotels in the state. The Arra group’s state director (business) Deepak Matiyani said this while addressing the media here on Sunday. He said that migration is the main problem being faced in Uttarakhand. The group is going to open hotels in Nainital, Ramnagar, Kausani and other locations to also tackle this problem. He said that local youths will be employed in these hotels and given training to enhance their skills. According to Matiyani, the steps to be taken by the group will prove to be a major employment generator for the youths of the mountainous regions.

The group is aiming to provide employment to the locals rather than hiring staff from outside the state. The Nainital unit head Pankaj Arora said that wherever the group is working, aspects ranging from local food to culture are being presented in front of the tourists. The corporate GM Prahlad Rawat said that there is major scope in the tourism sector. The group expects good business from its hotels while providing better facilities to tourists to project a better image of tourism in the state.
