The new executive committee of the Nainital boat house club was formed on Monday. Mukund Prasad is the new senior vice president while Dheer Singh is the secretary of the club. The executive of the club was formed in a meeting held late in the evening at the club. Akhil Kumar Sah and Shoib Ahmed were made the joint secretaries in the executive. The elections of the club were concluded on Saturday. There were a total of 17 candidates in the poll.
Newly appointed secretary Dheer Singh said that focus will be laid on providing better facilities to the club members. Various games will be encouraged and the dignity of the establishment will be maintained. Prasad said that sail boat competitions at the national level will be organised here while the traditionally organised events in the club will be continued.
