As part of creative electioneering ahead of the April 19 polling, a street play was staged in Indresh Nagar at the initiative of Ambedkar Nagar Mandal of Rajpur Road Vidhan Sabha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The street play presented through the characters the host of affirmative actions and welfare schemes dished out by the Modi government for the last 10 years.
Ambedkar Nagar Mandal president Pankaj Sharma said that such street plays should be staged in every ward till the campaigning ends on April 17. He said that such plays help the party present its electoral perspectives and mission to the people at large through creative means. A battery of local leaders were present during the saffron party’s creative campaigning.
