BJP manifesto, a document to cheat- Congress

Co in-charge Dharmani, PCC chief trash BJP Manifesto

The Congress party has trashed the election manifesto of the BJP which was released by the party in Delhi on Monday.  Terming the manifesto as a document meant to cheat, the co in-charge of the state Congress, Rajesh Dharmani said that the BJP had released a similar manifesto prior to the Lok Sabha elections of 2019 and after coming to power all its promises remained unfulfilled. He said that the new manifesto the party has again listed 75 promises which again would not get fulfilled. He said that the BJP had promised to double the income of the farmers but no improvement in the condition of farmers has occurred in last five years. The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief, Pritam Singh also termed the manifesto as farce. He said that instead of releasing a manifesto the BJP should have apologised for not able to fulfil the promises it made in 2014. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi neither lists any achievement of his government in his address nor the BJP has any reply to the Congress party’s ‘NYAY, the master stroke on poverty. Launching an attack on the BJP government for demonetisation and GST, the PCC chief said that the party has failed  to produce any data regarding the achievements of these decisions. He added that the BJP wants to win election on nationalism but the fact is that in last five years the terrorism is at its peak in Jammu and Kashmir, the whole north east is burning on the issue of NRC and our Jawans are getting martyred daily on borders. Singh said that the country faced 18 major attacks like Pulwama, Uri, Pathankot and Nagrota in which our armed forces personnel lost their lives.  The PCC president also expressed surprise on the silence of BJP on the Ram Mandir.
