BJP flags off LED publicity vehicles for poll campaign

Union minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s state election in-charge, Pralhad Joshi and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the party’s LED publicity vehicles from the BJP state office here on Sunday.

Joshi said that the BJP’s double-engine government had ensured everybody’s development but there is no room for appeasement. “It is with this determination that we are going to campaign for the blessings of the people,” he said.

Addressing the party workers, Dhami said that the double-engine government was establishing new development models in Uttarakhand. “According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s motivation we are on the way to making this Uttarakhand’s decade before the silver anniversary of the state’s creation in 2025,” he said.

The CM said that the party is initiating campaign for the Assembly elections in all the 70 constituencies with the publicity vehicles. He said that the progress achieved by the double-engine government is visible to all. “We are working for the development of villages, uplift of the poor, prosperity of the farmers, employment for the youth and safety of women with commitment,” said Dhami.

The BJP state president Madan Kaushik, vice president and programme coordinator Jyoti Prasad Gairola, vice president Anil Goel and other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
