The Bharatiya Janata Party said that its central leadership has finalised the names of all necessary teams and observers for the upcoming Panchayat polls in Uttarakhand. Once the election dates are announced, the observers will reach their respective areas and prepare panels of supported candidates for the district Panchayat seats and other posts, the State media in-charge of BJP Manveer Chauhan said.
Addressing media persons at the party headquarters, Chauhan said that the party will win the Panchayat polls in a one-sided manner. He said that the double-engine government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is delivering benefits directly to people across the State. He said the party secured voter confidence in the 2017 Assembly polls based on its previous performance.
This credibility, he added, was further strengthened by the 2024 Lok Sabha and this year’s civic body polls. He said that the party would repeat its performance in Panchayat polls by securing maximum seats across the State. Chauhan claimed that the opposition is engaged in spreading misinformation instead of focusing on voter lists or booth preparations.
He added that the Congress prefers to raise complaints after losing instead of addressing voter issues during the electoral process. According to him, the people are aware, vigilant and trust the party’s ability to bring happiness and progress to their villages.
