Bishop Shaw inter college student Mahendra Kumar who scored 90.2 per cent in the 2021-22 Uttarakhand board examination was felicitated by the school here on Saturday. The school manager Neelam Dani felicitated the meritorious student.Nainital resident Mahendra’s father Trilok Ram is a boatman while his mother Prema Devi is a housewife. He said that he was to student engineering and become an engineer. Mahendra said that he had achieved good marks in the board examination on the basis of self-study, adding that he used to study four hours with full focus on a daily basis. Crediting his parents and teachers for his success, he said that he had scored 96 each in physics and chemistry, 85 in mathematics, 90 in Hindi and 84 in English. Apart from studying, he also likes to play cricket. Bishop Shaw inter college principal Veena Massey also greeted the student on the occasion and wished him a bright future.
