The birthday of the renowned ornithologist Dr Salim Ali, popularly known as the Bird Man of India, was celebrated at the Wild Art Gallery Trust. Students from various schools participated in the event. During the programme, wildlife photographer Deep Rajwar highlighted Dr Salim Ali’s invaluable contribution to the field of ornithology, noting that he used binoculars to explore and study birds even in remote regions. Schoolchildren were also shown a photo exhibition featuring different bird species at the art gallery.
Nature lovers Sanjay Chimwal, Deep Melkani, Medi Rajendra, Ravindra Bisht, and many school students were present on the occasion.
