The Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI ) issued a new voter list on Monday and gave the voting rights to Uttarakhand. The BCCI had taken the voting rights from the Uttarakhand Cricket Association (CAU) on Sunday after it received complaints of the ongoing arbitrariness in the association. It was the lobbying by the CAU that helped Uttarakhand have its voting rights back by the BCCI. There were reportedly 30 names in the list on Sunday and while on Monday evening, the 31st name of the Uttarakhand Cricket Association was added to the list. The BCCI elections are to take place on December 4.
