The station house officer (SHO) of the Kapkote police station Vivek Chandra told The Pioneer that the man was taken to hospital by locals from where doctors referred him to the district hospital but he died during treatment there on Monday night. Before consuming poison, the deceased had also uploaded a video on social media in which he talked about his plight of failing the exam. He has stated in the video that he has no other option than committing suicide as he had worked very hard for past few years to get selected in Agniveer army but he was not selected despite having a C certificate in NCC.
