An AYUSH health camp was organised for the elderly under the National AYUSH Mission at Lalpur village under Udham Singh Nagar district on Thursday. Inaugurating the camp, the secretary, AYUSH, Uttarakhand, Deepak Kumar Choudhary said that it was organised to raise health awareness and take care of the senior citizens and local villagers. Free consultation and distribution of medicines were held at the camp in the presence of doctors from all the three systems- Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Allopathy. Besides, the villagers were informed in simple language by the expert group on topics such as daily routine, seasonal cycle, lifestyle advice for old people, mental health and role of nutrition and yoga.
