Taking strong exception to the statement of BJP leader Shadab Shams in which he allegedly termed the agitation of unemployed youth as a toolkit of Congress party, the Uttarakhand Congress has said that the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami should put a rein on such loudmouthed leaders of his party.
The chief spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Dasauni said that the statement of Shams exposes the double standards of the BJP and its leaders. She said that on one hand the BJP promises two crore jobs to the unemployed and on the other uses brutal force on the youth who were demanding CBI inquiry on the paper leak cases.
Dasauni said that the BJP has only used the youngsters as a vote bank and has not delivered on its promise of granting jobs. It is now insulting the youth by terming them as a toolkit of the Congress party. She said that the BJP leader should submit an apology to the youngsters for his comment.
