According to the Hindu rituals, Navratri is celebrated four times in a year. The worship of shakti during Chaitra Navratri starts at the Sukla Pratipad. And this day marks the start of the Hindu New Year. This year, some connections are found to be auspicious. The Mother is coming by boats and going by doli during the festival. This is deemed to be an auspicious connection. The astrologers say that the connections are very special. Notably, the Chaitra Navratri is beginning on March 22 and ends on March 30. This is a full-fledged nine-day Navratri. Prapipad thithi would start at 4 minutes past 11 am on March 21 and with this, Navratri would start from the sunrise time of March 22. During these nine days, four planets would change positions, said astrologers. This happens once in 110 years, they added. Besides, the arrival of the Mother by boats is deemed to be harbinger of happiness and wealth.
